Broery Marantika - Hapuslah Airmatamu

Today 17/02/2009 - received a song from my group SIM. This song flash back all those days stories, my primary school memories. Nice song, good singer...Broery Marantika...I think he is one of a kind...hard to have...these days.

Here is a more about him and the lyrics as well... of course as per the internet told... ^_^

What can we say about a legend other than his music will live on for generations. Broery was such an inspiration to Indonesian and Malaysian musicians in the 1970s that even one of its biggest stars had to pay homage. Broery really sing with all his heart and soul. Born and grew up in the Maluku islands. He picked up numerous awards during a career that spanned several decades and inspired countless singers from eastern Indonesia. Unfortunately, he never returned to form after suffering a stroke in 1998. He passed away two years later.
This song (Hapuslah Air Mata mu) in fact sang by Sharifah Aini as well - ladies version

Hapuslah Airmatamu

Dengarlah bisikan hati
Untuk mu yang tersayang
Walaupun apa terjadi
Tiada perpisahan

Itu lah janji-janji nya
Yang tak mungkin berubah
Tiada perpisahan
Yang akan terjadi

Corus #
Tiada rintangan baginya
Yang dapat memutuskan
Begitu setia janjinya
Pasangan yang bercinta

Walaupun apa yang terjadi
Lan coba di atasai
Begitulah ....
Jangan lah bersedih

Hapus lah air mata mu
Usahlah kau bersedih
Tiada penyesalan
Yang insaf bagi mu.

Yesterday 05/02/2009 - Our office is celebrating the Chinese New Year Function. Held at C0rus Hotel: Ming Court 1st Floor. Nice function, eating Chinese cuisine.
Our friends who celebrate Christmas are sharing the celebration with us too.
We received ginger breads, chocolates and also a small gift from Sharon, Tee and Elly .
How lucky I am being Malaysian. We share almost everything ...culture...knowledge...friendships...stories...Malaysia is a truly Asia.
One place of Asia cult rural and yet we still can stand our own believe...our religion... with respect of course for each others. Where can we have all this...except in Malaysia.... ^_^

Be proud of what we have.
